I have a few bucks lying around and wondering if i should get gold from TTG, ive been a member for 2 years now, about to be 3 and have never owned gold. Of course many of you will say "yeah go ahead and buy it." But the obvious question stands; is it really worth it? An unbiased answer would be great.
Also i really want to change to my username name, its very umm, "childlike" "wanna be gamer"
idk just doesnt fit in the mature gaming community.

Well you should get it, either gifted or pay for it. It is awesome! Extra features are definitely worth it. Give it a try! Even if you don't like it, just don't renew. But you will love it so do't hesitate to get it!

I think it's worth it. You get access to an IM feature. Also, you get gold forums which are nice to have. I think it's worth the $5.97.

It's only worth it if you know you want it and the reason behind it on why you want it. I got gifted and i personally think it's the same as a regular member but just a couple more adds. It probably 50/50 in my opinion.

Ill be honest, I'm not that active, the only times I ever have gold are when it gets gifted to me, sure it's a bit of fun and only really worth it for the gold member forums/supporting TTG

i like gold more than not having it i get ti instent msg my friends and color my Username and have a signature and have motto so yeah you should
