iOS 7 Untethered Jailbreak MEGA Guide

The user Encoder will be helping with the thread and comments. Please feel free to ask him questions as well because he knows his stuff.

This post is put into sections so you can find what you need, I'll add more later. Don't forget to comment if you would like something added or suggest something that needs improvement.

Cydia:
Cydia is currently the mainly used application for installing software packages unavailable to those who are un-Jailbroken. The current version of Cydia is at 1.1.9 which adds the look of iOS 7 into Cydia, although it doesn't change the icon.

Tweaks:
This will be an ever updating list of working tweaks, I'll split it up into two sections A7 Chips and A6 and lower. If you have questions about tweaks or want me to test them instead just ask. If you need help with anything look at the help section that's below because you'll most likely find your solution there.


*More and more tweaks are beginning to work on iOS7, when the list gets too big I'll post links to sites which have them listed instead. I'll keep the A7 for longer though as that will be the one with the most attention.*

The Story:
Where do I start? This has been one of the worst Jailbreak releases in my opinion. After the few days of reading twitter wars and also the huge story on Reddit, I've come to a conclusion that the Jailbreak community is no where it should be. Both the Evad3rs and Saurik have not been working together and this has led to the horrible place we are in. The main reason behind this is of "TaiG". Saurik didn't want this because he knew of the piracy but they were paying to have it included so the Evad3rs took the deal and went against Saurik, who they believe was planning on releasing a JB before the Evad3rs. The main reason it was so unannounced was because whoever releases the first Jailbreak tends to make the real money (Around 100,000 USD). All in all I hope it gets fixed and never happens again, we are a community after all and that means we need to work TOGETHER to get things done.




Help/Advice:
This is the main point of this topic, I see so many threads asking questions about things like why tweaks aren't working or stuck in a endless bootloop. I will tell you what I know and some quick solutions other members have found. If it's not already answered post it here and I will help to the best of my abilities.

Let us start off with something that so many members don't know... Mobile Substrate, the biggest problem of the iOS 7 jailbreak.

If none of your tweaks have been working, delete Mobile Substrate and reinstall then try installing all of your tweaks again but make sure these tweaks have been confirmed working. For example "Winterboard" if installed will make all other tweaks stop working and delete them from the settings page. I also recommend installing the tweak called "Bootstrap" until Mobile Substrate is fixed, it's like a temporary fix as some may say.

Another thing is the installing of the jailbreak, so many people seem to have problems with it and the thing that always seems to work is to restore the device and try again. If this didn't help you post below and I will work it out with you.

This part will be updated continuously as more answers are found, also if you have something that you believe will help others just message me and I can add it in.

yeah might just wait maybe until next tuesday night and see whats changed because i am not having a buggy jailbreak, rather stick to the same ios7 normal until everything is in ship shape. Did release abit to early in my opinion needed alot more work done :L

That, plus they didn't work together to make the jailbreak which is why almost nothing has been working.
