WiiU's demographic is 8 year olds, a majority of us aren't that age. Not to mention the terrible game selection. Mediocre hardware. Silly controller.

OUYA plays mobile games on a non-mobile platform. I have a Galaxy S4, why would I want to play an app on my TV? That's just a bad business model, not innovation.

How is the WiiU not aimed at little kids? So it has a few "higher rated" games on it. PC has "E" rated games. How many little kids own gaming PCs? Have you seen the commercial recently for it? It advertises Mario games and has 4 little (6 or so) kids in it. Its demographic is a very young audience. Don't nullify my other points because you have one poor argument to one of my points...

The fact the OUYA runs Android has nothing to do with it. Its the fact they have awful hardware and cannot afford a decent title on it. I prefer Android as an operating system. Why would I use that in my argument against a console? Its a simple fact that the OUYA has very little to offer compared to other consoles.

It sounds like this dude invested in the OUYA when it was on Kickstarter and he's regretting it and trying to convince himself it wasn't a waste...

Because some people dont want to try something new or open their eyes to other peoples views or try the new things.

And this is exactly what I mean ^

Just because OUYA runs Android doesn't mean it gives a bunch of mobile ports to the TV. It's a games console, and has some really high quality indie titles that you can experience nowhere else (not even on a S4)..

And the Wii U, how can mature games like Zombi U and Bayonetta 2 be aimed at 8 year olds? You're basing your opinion of the Wii U on what the Wii brought to the table, and by doing that, you're missing out on some great games.

This argument makes zero sense. I am not a true gamer because I don't have a Ouya or Wii U.....I'm sorry but my standards aren't that low. Why buy an Ouya to play the android games that I can play on my phone. Why would I want to spend $300 to play Mario on a plus size controller when I can just play an emulator on my phone/tablet. Because people favor "Military FPS" they are not a "True Gamer" I'm sorry I don't have the same taste in games like you do. People hate on everything its life. Ouya and the Wii U aren't new experiences; Xbox Kinect, Playstations Camera and new touch-pad controllers are new experiences. Ouya is just a smartphone with a controller and Wii U is a tablet with Mario.

Your opinion is as flawed as alot of peoples, and I was only using those as examples, another example would be games that actually have good art styles, like Wind Waker, or Okami, or anything else that people dont consider "the norm".

People hate change. No matter where you go, where you're at. Somone will hate your ideas, Did you think Bill Gates was looked at as a success before microsoft was worth a quarter trillion?

How about steve jobs that made Apple out of his garage.

people hate change.

My opinions flawed yet you judge me accordingly to what system and game genre I play. I can argue and say that my $1200 Computer blows the OUYA and Wii U out of the water. Maybe you're not a true gamer because you don't have a super computer. I think you need to learn the real definition of what a gamer really means. Every game has good art style because I'd honestly like to see you draw half these games.

Im not judging you on what you play or how you go about doing it. I'm judging you because YOU are the one judging the Wii U, OUYA, etc, probably before you've even used them. And this is because you don't want new things like these to succeed, you just want more Dull Call of Duty and Battlefield on your "hardcore" game console. When in truth, you can just as easily hardcore game on the Wii U, etc. with great games like Mario 3D World, Zombi U, Wind Waker HD, and Pikmin 3.

No I want next gen games not Android level or last gen games. I am all for the Steam Box so may I ask....How do I not want new things to succeed.......because I don't support inferior products like the Wii/Ouya or even nvidia shield. They don't meet the standards that most gamers want thats why people hate on them. They might be "innovative" in some departments but in their graphics/hardware capabilities they are lacking innovation. Id love to have the Ouya if it ran semi-decent non android games but then again its only $99 so you get what you pay for.
