Apple was at one point my favorite company. They had great ideas and great products (still do) but they are not what they were before. They roll out the SAME product (iPhone, iMac, etc.) year after year. Everything is so expensive too. Then people boast about how Apple is so great. I'm not a hater, I have proudly owned my iMac since 2007. I just don't get why people still think they are buying the best thing on the market. Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, and many more companies are more innovative than them.

It's like a circular effect. Because people who don't really know anything about the tech they are buying spend a lot of money on apple products, they will defend apple. Nowadays you could get equal performance to apple products for cheaper, especially apple computers.

It's also about popularity, if your friends have an apple product, you are more likely to have a apple product.
