Hey guys,

I recently purchased all my parts for my PC which have been delivered and I have a question about a wifi card maybe getting in the way on my R9 270X.

I have the Gigabyte GA-78LMT USB3 motherboard and I know the graphics card goes into the biggest slot of the PCIe slots, but just below the PCIe x16 slot their is a smaller slot which I think is the PCIe x1 slot? My question is Will I be able to fit a wifi card in that PCIe x1 slot without any space problems from my R9 270X?

Thanks!
Silianat

Most wifi cards are the same, they either take a PCI(E) x1 slot or a USB.There is no reason why a wifi card wouldn't fit normally.

If all else fails, you can always use this:

Wifi adapter in the form of a USB drive.
Up to 150Mbps.

Yes,some people say they're bad,but mine works fine.I get 6MBs so 150 is plenty for me.

Yes,the motherboard has a PCI express slot so this would work.
