To me, it really doesn't matter if someones gay. As long as they don't get me involved

I dont understand why people are openly homophobic, if someone being gay isnt affecting your life negatively why should you care, its kind of like people that play battlefield hating on CoD players or vice versa, if someone thatts gay or someone that plays a certain game isnt negatively affecting your life why should you have a problem with someones preferences.

... Why does everyone seem to have this view that just because we're gay we're automatically drawn to any man we're in the vicinity of.
Do you automatically want to be with any girl you're near because you're straight?

It's silly.

Tyrannicide wrote On a quick note also, why do straight guys automatically assume that gay people would even want to come onto you at all? Gay people have standards i am sure and they probably do expect a level of attractiveness from a male, maybe straight people need to come to terms with the fact that gay people do not try to "come onto" any other male in their immediate vicinity...

I'd say it could be perceived as insulting to suggest that just because you are male gay people will try to come on to you, also a little narcissistic.

I have a mad story that could contradict your thesis here.

Whilst abroad in Malia/Crete, I was staying at a rather nice hotel. Me and a friend I made there were just having a chat with a man at the bar whilst getting our drinks and he said "You're both very good looking, I'd love to use you in one of my films" and told us how is a film producer. Called Carl Medland, google him. Anyway, he then repetitively tried to pull both of us for the duration of our stay, baring in mind he is 40 odd years old, I was 17 and my mate was 18. Oddly, all the gay friends he was there with were the exact same...

You were on holiday, people go on holiday to pull people. You wouldn't walk into a shopping center and have swarms of gay people try to pull you because you are so godly attractive.

A 40 year old man in a relaxation resort, not a typical pulling holiday is it that. Good luck finding where I stated i was godly attractive. I have had a strangely large amount of gay people come talk to me and try and buy me drinks though, i don't like it its creepy for me Its really not something to be excited about, I don't ask for it nor want it

As long as they don't hit on me or get any ideas with me, then I dont have a problem.

That mindset is so unbelievable. There's no difference between you and someone who is homosexual besides the fact they like the same sex. If you cant realize that, then you are just plain stupid.

As a gay man, i agree, we are just people like everyone else, nothing is changed about us except what we like, i don't see why most of society hates us, just because we like something different than other peoples standards doesn't make us bad.

We still care.
