I have a history essay and I need to know the war ended, like how/why did it end?

The war ended with Germany Surrendering, and they had to sign the treaty of versailles in 1918

If you are in a class, there are two easy ways to figure this out:
1.Google it.
2.Read a book

There is no need to create a topic asking about something that is easily searchable.

I actually knew that cause I took history class in highschool. I just googled treaty of versaille incase he needed more information about it.
