Something that just come about as FPS games became more popular. I don't really use the term, I just say," I went ham".

It's just a general term that caught on. The same with why people say terms like "Beat around the bush." Makes no sense but everyone knows what it means.

I agree. I also hate when people come into lobbies and they're like (if they lose the game) "Nobody cares about Pubs anyways". Me > Well if you don't care why are you playing pubs?

This is how we feel when we see people with "MLP" "Pony" or anything to do with that "retarded" show in their username or bio or description for any kind of online activity that requires a user to have a profile.

Does my head in and I've done competitive gaming daily for the last 3 years. Just a pointless term for people who claim to be great at cod use when they back out of lobbies when people have 1.4 kd's or higher haha, oh and typically in a full 6

I think that word is for kids...

"Huehuehue lets pubstomp"
Me: "No shaddup."

It as bad as the little kids on COD that say the did your mom, or they raped another person with "T-bags" on Halo.

I believe the correct term is: "lets go and make the other team lose, by A LOT"

Like why don't you just call yourself Mechanically Engineering Music with zero Lyrical Talent.

Woah Woah calm the hostility.

His name is actually a fan name of a character from a TV show. Also DJ isn't a term, its an abbreviation for Disk Jockey.

A disk jockey typically plays all kind of music, just because someone is a 'DJ' doesn't mean they play dubstep/techno or computer generated music. They can play anything.

On topic, the terms 'pubstomper', 'noob' or 'MLG' to me really are stupid. People make up terms to describe things so I guess there is not much we can do about it sadly. It is an annoying sounding and stupid term to be honest, that's my opinion though.

MLG is not a term, it's also an abbreviation (Trademark) for "Major League Gaming" which is the number 1 professional gaming (Esports) network in the world. But I see what you mean, when people mention MLG, noob and pubstumper they think it makes them feel superior in the gaming world when really they are embarrassing themselves

I hear this term while playing MMO's, but I have seen It on the CoD forums and I agree It's annoying, a lot of people only say It because they see someone else say It and jump on the "bandwagon" just like how people called the big guy on buried "Leroy"
