my friend has a PS3 Slim the 500gb on and my 64GB usb doesn't show up anymore however earlier the day it had shown up and i was able to transfer some movies over but now i cannot. Can anyone help me in solving this problem.
could it be because of the formatting of something i don't know. I have formatted it twice to its default options.

The usb need to be formatted to fat32 for the ps3 to recognise it. Windows wont format a usb to fat32 if its over 32gb i be leave.

You will need to find a software which will allow you to format it to fat32. there are plenty tuts online which show you how to do this.
