Hey all, for Christmas I'm looking to build a gaming PC. It is mostly going to be playing games such as Battlefield 4, Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V (If it does come out on PC).

Here are the specs with links:
- CPU: i3 3220 3.3GHz [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- GPU: Radeon 7870 2gb [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- RAM: Corsair XMS3 1600mhz [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- MOBO: Asus H61M-A [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- PSU: 600w Corsair Builders Series [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
- Disk Drive: Lite-on IHAS 24 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I live in the UK and this site is the cheapest I have found, I'm not looking for any advice on the parts because I am happy with them and they suit the purpose of my needs atleast I think. I only want to play BF4 at over 60fps on 64 player servers on Low - Medium graphics.

Thanks,
Sili

I recommend this. May not want to go with my graphics card if your after low/medium. This will get you high and close to ultra

Wow,I was just about to post all of this,I would go with this build, its better all round. The 6300 is a great CPU for its price and will beat the i3 in gaming.

I wouldn't recommend an i3 when it comes to gaming. I'd build this.

A little over budget, but it'll be worth it.

Yea, I looking at that and some of the threads I have browsed through, It looks like AMD is definitely the way to go for CPU and GPU, Mostly because of the Cores and the new Mantle API coming in January. Thanks for the help guys, Very much appreciated!

My max budget is 500, I do want to include ScanSure incase I break anything with static charge (First time building a PC ) It looks like I am definitely switching the Computer around from i3 to a 6300. BF4 recommends multi core so I think this change also slightly future proof's the computer. Thanks!

Change that 1x8GB into 2x4GB then your build will be solid
