Oh yeah you're asking if Santa clause is real but you have a car? That's weird.

Anyways a good first car honestly is a car that is reliable, minimal rust and cheap. Depending on your age I'm assuming you are a teenager but the more your car costs the higher the insurance rates will be a male teenager has the highest insurance rates as it is. Saying that i would stay away from sports cars especially if you are a novice driver. But as for your first car with a $5000 budget i would go with a Honda civic, it is very reliable, good gas mileage, comfortable driving and cheap. You should be able to find a 7-9 year old civic with 80k+/- miles in your budget.

Hope this helped

I have a 2001 Crown Vic(Retired Cop car) and i love it. Theyre really reliable and cheap.

Plus the 4.6L is a bit of a plus on the car ;)

But id recommend getting it at an auction. Youll get a better deal(Condition of the car).

Id definitely recommend of spending $3,000 max on your first car. They're your first car, its gotta be something wrong with it ;)

Unless your parents buy your car....

The crown Vic is a good car but in my opinion it has bad gas mileage if you commute in a city or urban area. Plus if you live in the northeast where there are bad winters the rear wheel drive on it is a pain driving through the snow and slippery roads
