Well, as a catholic everything at this point in time doesn't seem to be adding up including stories from the bible, pastors, ...etc. I believe everything in the bible was made up and not real due to the fact that "Adam and Eve" story is really not acceptable. As people say the Devil was a fallen angel but in the passage it says the serpent seduced Eve into eating the fruit. Also, I asked a priest if Eve did not eat that fruit would be live forever and he said yes, so why would God not want his people to live forever? I don't know. But by serpent they mean the Devil and there was no Devil during that time due to the fact that Adam and Eve were the only ones on Earth. Also, who knows what actually happened and if it actually happened at all. There were no reporters during the time the "Earth was created" and how would they know what happened so people just made it up to get it started, and that thing when Jesus went on a trip for like 50 days or something like that how would we know all this actually happened like the Devil tried to get him to eat and fall off a cliff and what not... People were not following him around and just writing everything down they made it up as they went along. There is more I'd like to write but am to lazy to.

This was quite funny! But I'd have to turn down your offer.

I never really understood religion either. All of the things in the Bible never really added up for me. Of course when I was younger I was a Christian but that's because parents today teach kids what to think, Not how to think. After a while of pondering I just became atheist.

You know, I'm not trying to offend anyone, but yes. I am a Christian. I believe in everything that's in the bible.

At Jesus' crucifixion, the Roman were experts at everything, especially this. They recorded everything and everyone that was crucified, and they have in fact found the thing they wrote in and there was a man named Jesus' in there.

There also have been many many men try to state how God isn't real, but no one has yet to come up with how he's isn't real.

Just think about our bodies for a second, cells, how they replicate, transfer, go through cycles and all that biology stuff. It just didn't happen by 'nature'. That's where God comes in.

They have found things in the bible to be true. So I do believe it. But again I'm not trying to offend anyone by this. I could go on and on about this. But I won't.

I do believe in God and everything in the bible. :satisfied:

But no one has proved he is real...
But I do respect your choice as a Christian. As long as people are happy.

There have been artifacts that have been recovered, such as the Roman book with all the crucifixions that happened. I'm sure they have retrieved more things that the bible has announced. Some of the temples are still here today also.

Here are a few of my opinions on this fact, first i was baptized and went to church when i was younger and it really didnt make any sense, also if you want your child to be a person to follow god you gotta start young. On to the statment all i gotta say is you look up into that wide open space and read all the fact about the bible saying that the earth is 3000 years old. we have bones that we have found of man that are 400,000years old. ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) also the space have billions of galaxys and moons and sons and life and it unreal. I had just taken in the more science part. Thats what made the most sense to me and its peoples right to think and believe what they want. I do not believe that god is real through the facts of the bible and the facts that have been put in front of me.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, this is all past knowledge. Wasn't Christianity unacceptable in the Roman Empire until the 400's where the first emperor was baptized? They would have convicted Christians die in the Coliseum because of their faith. Most all of the Christians then were slaves and women because they did not have many rights and Christianity would accept anyone.

So how would Rome document everything that happened when it wasn't even accepted until 400 AD? I think with the Road system the Romans setup throughout Europe is the direct cause of these stories. Eventually, the prophet Jesus Christ was being told about and stories of his majesticness would spread to convert people easier, but they were just stories that stuck.
