You going to college or is that not an option?? I'm 18 and I don't make that much but it's not like it really matters since I'm going off to college to search for a better paying job

Luckily for me my dad owns a business where he installs the security systems and nurse phones in hospitals, and it pay GOOD. I work 18 weeks and make 30$ an hour. So I lucked out

To be honest, that wage would be extremely difficult to live off if you had moved out. You'd definitely need to be splitting rent with friends but it's an acceptable wage for the age of 18

It depends on if you are living on your own or not.

If you are living at your parents house still, then its pretty good because you don't have a ton of living expenses you have to pay for.

I'm 17 (about to turn 18) and I'm currently earning between 13000-16000 pounds per year.

But yes 12000 per year is very good to start off with. But don't be silly and spend it as soon as you get it, save it up.

where i work i make 12k a year, but its just a job... nothing im planning on doing for the rest of my life.. only until im done with college


fair play to u a grand a month is really good especially if its from part time job im on part time no where near that much but im still at college so it doesnt bother me atm
