Had Astros A40 for a while, but now they are worn out, & I'm considering to get another pair of A40's.

But I saw the wireless ones they have now (Astros A50's) & I was wondering which one is better?

A40 or A50?

Wired is always just a little better. But wireless is so much less of a hassle, so it depends on your preference.

Wireless will cost more money in the long run because of the amount of batteries

True, but I just a great quality headset. Wireless was good with the turtle beaches. So maybe A50's. Still idk which is better.

Wireless I think your gonna have a couple of problems with. It uses batteries, audio and mic may not work as nice because the fact it is wireless. I would personally go with the Astro A40's. I feel like wired is always MUCH more reliable. But hey, either one is a great buy. Good luck and happy gaming. -Aquarium

Personal opinions I dont think Astro's are really worth the money that they are. I agree with the mix amp but not the price of the actual headphones

The actual headset is only $150.
That really isn't that much considering what some run for.

They fixed all the problems that the A50s had, no batteries are used it's chargeable, & it has more features. I just used the A40s for a while....might go with the A50s...

I would go with the A50 headset. Personal experience, you will really enjoy it.
