"This is what I heard" so don't take my word. That dead island riptide is same things different map I haven't played riptide so I can't say much about it but if you're buying to play with friends get which ever one they are but dead island is good so im sure riptide must be.

Iv'e had Both games and they have the same features just some changes in skills, some new weapons. I also like how the story line from Dead Island continues on to Riptide the ending of Riptide is a bit of a shock in my head. All in all i liked the game I would rate it an 8/10. The reason i rate 8/10 if because they took the same features from Dead Island and changed it up a bit. i was also very disappointed when they still had the same vehicles i would of liked if they added a variety of vehicles. I liked that they added a boat in Riptide to get to places that cant be reached with a car. This is my way of saying i liked the game

Riptide. I personally loved the fact they added another character to play as and it was a lot better killing wise and weapon wise. It was amazing! I can't wait to see if there will be another.

I like riptide more because theres a little bit more to do
