I'm just asking because at this point I don't know. I already have an Xbox one pre ordered and I'm picking it up in a week but now thinking about it I might want to get the PS4. If I get the Xbox one ill get it at Christmas and if I get the PS4 ill have to wait until march.

Some questions
----------------------
On the Xbox one can you live stream straight from the console and record gameplay?
Is the Xbox one any good?
How does it play?

Honestly I have played both consoles, they are both awesome, but I preferred the Xbox One not only because I'm an Xbox fan just because in my opinion it is better than the PS4, the controller on the Xbox is amazing(has a really good feel)
PS4 controller is good also

Your not going to get the fairest sides here also I haven't been able to try the ps4 yet. The Xbox one is a significant improvement over 360 and the controller really feels good. The triggers have a nice grip and feel much sturdier trying out the games soon get whatever your friends are getting

-You can't livestream on console currently. In either January or February is when Xbox One will be able to stream to Twitch.

-I'm loving my Xbox One. The whole interface of being able to be on a game and then switch to the dashboard and do whatever until I'm put in a game, and the best is it notifies you when your game is starting. I love how I can listen to Pandora while playing Call of Duty and FIFA so I don't get bored just grinding away.

-The whole console runs extremely smoothly for me. I'm loving it compared to my old 360. The one problem I have is when friends sign on you don't get a notification along with messages sometimes so you won't know all the time until you go to your friends section.

I chose the Xbox One first over the PS4 which i'll soon purchase sometime next year. Honestly, my experiences with the Xbox One are great and the Kinect 2.0 voice control is very responsive. The sole reason i chose to purchase the Xbox One first is mainly down to the fact that i prefer the controller and the launch games/exclusives intrigued me more so than the PS4's exclusives.

Well, since you're posting in the Xbox One forum most people are going to suggest you get it over the PS4.

Both are great consoles and I don't think you can really go wrong with either one.

Get what your friends are getting. Console gaming is all about the experience and if you have no friends to play with it'll get boring pretty quickly. That's my suggestion for you.
