Their used to be GFX artists that would jump at the chance to do some graphic work yet as soon as I contact anyone or try and talk to anyone no one replies?
And then there is the fact that there arent as many GFX shops anymore
I used to remember when the TTG GFX sub-forum used to thrive but now it seems as though it is slowly dying

Does anyone else agree?

I don't know how to put this but uh you know how everybody used to love FaZe because they were one of the best trickshotting clans back in the day but now today you get into a search and destroy lobby on any cod and you at least have 1 FaZe wannabe
Back to GFX, it is just everybody is doing it now and it gets boring after a while if you are a GFX artist because you start being repetitive after a couple of designs

As a graphic designer myself and someone that has been watching this forum for about 2 years, and been joined just under a year, iv see exactly what you mean.

As a graphic designer motivation goes up and down quite a lot. Iv been doing graphics for about 4 years now. I also take it at A-level in college. Im one of the lucky few that have kept my motivation up by diversifying. So like the guy above said, people find it repetitive, well i always just tryed something new if i got bored.

To say that there are less designers is wrong completely! There are 10 times more designers than there were when i started. What has happened is the age has dropped. When i started the average age was about 14 years old and above. NOW i see quite a lot of 10 and even 9 year old starting GFX.
Because of this the standard of graphics has dropped significantly, Especially on this site.

There are plenty of designers but its harder to find designers that you believe to be up to standard. Which in turn for designers cause they arent getting the work, arnt motivated and so it just cycles. Which may explain the lack of shops open.

MozoArts pretty much sumed it up there, I was wrong when I said not as much, I meant there aren't much quality designers that do graphics for free.
