Here's my tactic to staying alive :

People acquired = 4
Requirements = weapons and money
What you do = Use the elevator and camp in there with the stake - out shotguns
with your mates and every time you feel in doubt just pay 250 points to get the :idea:
out of there. Get gun upgrades on stake out and occasionally go to weapon chest .
Furthest I got to = Round 15

We camped the elevator, i used an upgraded ballistic knife with bowie knife and an upgraded light machine gun with 125 bullets unupgraded (forget name) my three friends unloaded down the hallway with their machine guns. the ballistic knife with bowie is a two hit kill and goes really fast which makes for good cover of the window in the elevator. if it got too bad i would switch to my machine gun too, and if some1 got downed, i would shoot them with my ballistic knife. kept us from getting disorganized. made it to round 21

Hey just wanted to add that the two "parts" for the security booth barriers can be found:

1. Right outside the elevator with the shotgun (name escapes me) to the left on the floor next to a computer.

2. This one is found in the room typically where the mystery box spawns with the bowie knife. It is directly to the left on the bowie knife in an open cage.

These places are where I found both parts. I'm 99.99% they will be in these spots every time and I'm pretty sure you don't need to anything like defcon 5 before acessing them.
