If I preordered a day one console from gamestop will it show up day one? I know games preordered show up the day of release but heard a rumor that the console will not. Any verification of this? Thanks.

They must and they will. Don't worry, there's no way that you won't be able to get your console unless someone robs the store or something. If you pre-ordered, your console has already been locked down only for you to buy.

As in, will your online pre-order from GameStop be available at your local GameStop on day one? Then yes, if you pre-ordered, don't worry, you'll be able to get it on the first day.
