Help ok so i just tried to mod my gamertag using xport 360 and ezgt 2.2
when i was trying to find my profile i RENAMED it so i could acess it easier.
When i put my hardrive back into the xbox my profile is no where to be found.
BUT MY MODDED ONE IS.
so i tried to RECOVER it and it said check if your hardrive is connected right.
WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't just rename your profile's file. Change it back and you should be fine. If not, delete your GT and recover it.

Dude that is why you always need to make a back-up of your original un-modded profile, you can't just rename files in xport all those numbers/letters have meaning. So by renaming the file it is confused and can't find what it is looking for. I guess the only thing you can do is just delete only your profile, both the modded and the original and try to recover your account. If you keep getting the error message saying connect your HDD then you are going to need a brand new HDD. So next time when you extract your profile to the desktop just remember to make a copy of it just incase you screw up.

Check your recycle bin, it should be in there if you deleted it. Check your hard drives folders via xport or xplorer360 to see what it should be named and rename it back to that. Then you should be fine.
