Recently as many users know people not only in this forum but across all the web have been spreading various rumors of the Playstation 4's apparent faults for publicity on there videos or twitch channels
The fact most of these rumors are saying the Playstation 4 is either overheating or blowing up with smoke, Do any of these apparent claims have any evidence NO!
So don't let them sabotage your choice of console just because a few people say there console "started smoking" They have no evidence to back up there claim so why believe them.
This is the 21st century everyone has a form of camera they could have easily proved many wrong that disbelieved there claim of the console smoking but they never its all lies.
Disclaimer: I am not a fanboy of either console as i have had my fair share of either branded consoles.

Another example of this is a guy recently posted once again with NO PROOF saying the playstation 4 caught his house on fire.

With no proof you have reason to suspect them but you also have nothing to prove them wrong. It's a lose-lose situation.

not to sound like a bad guy but the first thing to me, if i saw something smoking or catching fire isnt to take a picture so i can upload it online. its to unplug it and make sure everything in my house is oka.
but yeah there needs to be proof of such a thing happening.

what ever the reason i wouldn't sweat it, good news is it was a lie bad news it wasn't. But if it was true which it possibly could be, then i am 100% sure that Sony WILL give you a brand new one, and probably with a free game to.

im not trying to say all of them are faulty but a few of them are and should wait before buying a ps4 on the first day
