ok so a week ago my i was using my other pc which has windows 8 on it and i couldn't open my libraries. i got someone to have a look at it and it turns out the file explorer was corrupt, so i did a system restore. after this i backed up all of my data and i tried to install windows 7 onto it. i tried multiple times but it kept on failing, i did some research and it said that a certain thing was stopping it from installing.

so i went into the bios and i had a look around, changed a few settings but then i saw it said "operating system" so i put it to "any" it then brought up 4 options i forgot what they were but i put "always execute" on all of them. i then restated the pc and now nothing comes up on the screen. +REP to who ever finds a solution.

heres the PC [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I have just fixed a friends laptop that had the exact same problem, the only way that i figured on how to fix it, is to connect it up to another PC and format it that way. I tried everything, but that's the only way i could make the screen turn on. So try that.

to connect what up? it was after i did something in the bios, is there a way to reset the bios?

What do you mean by the jumpers?

But the usual way to reset the BIOS is to remove the battery from your motherboard.
