No don't get the 8350 as it is just a factory overclocked version of the 8320. it's is identical, just with higher clocks, but for the price difference, you would need to be stupid to buy one!

The 8320 is the CPU to buy for under 150GBP. Guaranteed.

Or you could overclock the Amd FX 6300 and then spend some more money towards a GPU.

It's all well and good saving money and getting a 6300, but then there is buying a better motherboard to support the OC and a after market cooler. So i would get the 8320 if you can afford the extra.

As stated above in different ways and by several people, the "goodness" of a processor is defined by what you'll use it for and what your budget is. For example, an 8320 fits best under certain mid range budgets, but an 8320 doesn't fit in perfectly with a $1200 budget. For gaming at a more modest price, yes it is a good CPU. Intel cannot deliver the same performance for the price.

You should really get the fx8350 8-core black edition. Along with an Radeon 7990. That's what I have and it runs everything on ultra no problem. I run bf4 on ultra with a constant 95+ fps. Rarely gets to 85
