I was watching some comparison videos on youtube comparing the difference in graphics from the 360 to the PC.
From what I understand, in the early years of the 360, both the pc and the 360 had about the same graphics (that's comparing a moderately high endish gaming pc to the 360).
But nowadays the 360 has fallen way behind, since it's hardware doesn't get upgraded. My bro stared playing Skyrim the other day on a low end gaming pc, an on medium settings, the graphics were noticeably better than the 360.
Basically the 360 plays current games on LOW settings, and nowhere near ULTRA.
I'm sure the One will play the new games on pretty high settings, but how long will it be before the One's graphics start to lag behind the PC?
I ask this because I"m thinking of making a switch to PC gaming from consoles.

This is the "Xbox One" forum. Are you two Xbox players planning on purchasing the One?

Well I know the graphics will keep up pretty well on the Xbox One because of cloud computing where they can offload some of the Gpu/Cpu onto the cloud improving the graphics even more on the Xbox One. You could even say it is more future proof.

Yeah, that's true. I'm a little skeptical about it though. What I've noticed about game developers when they talk about their new and upcoming titles, is that things always seem better than they really are when the consumer finds out for themselves.

In fact, they're 'next-gen' from a console aspect. Don't forget consoles have to be sold at a viable price for MS and the consumer and they have to be easily mass produced and they have to deal with higher temperatures inside that small compact case.

gaming pc for $1500
60 FPS + Ultra Settings Most games 1080P + if monitor supports it
Xbox One for $500 = 30 FPS + High settings, some games locked at 720P cause it hurts the console
