By looking at live streams and videos of Call of Duty Ghost I get more and more worried about the competitive side of Call of Duty will not be as big as a factor this year my reasoning for this is:

Hardpoint - Introduced in Black Ops 2 Hardpoint to the Competitive Side of Call of Duty by storm, it was enjoyable to watch and play. It added an element to Competitive that had been needed for years! It made the stream numbers for MLG shoot up but now we here it isn't in Ghosts, Why? I believe that Treyarch and Activision are in too much competition with themselves to realise what made MLG so big this year!

Blitz - I've seen a few clips of the all new game mode blitz being played and I have to say I don't like the look of it? They think it is going to be the new CTF, I have to disagree, Have 3 people defending and 1 running through a portal seems all too easy and doesn't sound like a game mode people will like on the Pro Circuit!

Gameplay - The new knee sliding and way you move does not look like a Call of Duty game intact it looks like they are making a futuristic game like Halo and or Battlefield instead of making a game what they are best at?

This is just my opinion but leave a comment saying your opinion on the Game and will it kill Competitive?

It didn't kill competitive CoD, it killed CoD in general. This is honestly got to be the worst Call of Duty for multiplayer. Hardpoint was iffy, domination in CoD4 was the sh*t. It was stupid how they took out CTF though for Blitz.

Yeah I know they have tried to make an outstanding game but they have just taken the Classic Call of Duty Style in general out of it!

wouldn't say the competitive edge is gone isn't there a game mode like hardpoint just called something different? they have clan vs clan which is essentially league play.

knee sliding goes in well with the game and to be honest does nothing seems like its just there for fun it shouldn't really bother you when playing the game.

i'm yet to try blitz i've been playing cranked and search and rescue which i think are good games modes.

Can't say anything without having the game be officially released, things are definitely going to change completely, don't base opinions or facts off of gameplay pre-release.

I would't say that knee sliding and Competitive go together it's either going to be Over powered or Under powered?

I understand that you are worried.. But i have been playing since thr servers went up friday morning and i love the style of the MP it has a different feel to it,but also it is very competive in any gametype because you do get killed very easily in this game. But thats the competive part about it because you have to be 100% focused and play very conservative because you can go from being 6-0 to 6-6 in a flash... But any ways im sure you will like this game as do i.

In my opinion, it's killing Call of Duty itself, considering it's becoming a lot more like Battlefield...

I'm going to have to agree. It seems like they're trying to force their new game modes on to us. What's wrong with the classics? I'm especially annoyed about S&D, hardpoint, headquarters and demolition not being in the game.
