No it is very much still in the game. There isn't the typical Search and Destroy anymore however. The game mode is now called Search and Rescue. The objectives are exactly the same as before, the only difference is now once someone dies they drop a tag like in Kill Confirmed if the tag is picked up by an ally the player that was killed re-spawns if picked up by a player on the opposing team the killed player is out for the rest of the round. Points are given for picking tags up as well. Hope this helped!

Search is now private match only. But the guy above me already explained the new game mode.

Is it still 500xp per kill ?

People say this is an Upgraded Search and Destroy, I personally want to try it out and see if it's better than SND.

What do you mean? I was worried about it at first. It has it's pros and cons of course. You can respawn if you get killed which is somewhat cool. But when it's one on three or more it becomes very difficult to pull the win then. People also camp the tags VERY hard instead of picking them up.

You receive 500 XP per kill yes. 250 XP is awarded for picking up the tag. You level up very slowly in the game though even when playing search.
