What I've found out. When you first get into the game you need to get the stars as fast you can. I just got it to work so I can confirm that this still works

I was just able to do it for about thirty minutes before the mission actually started up.

Do I press A three times as fast as I can? First try so far and I didn't work, I'll try again though. The mission isn't starting up for me I just go into downloading for like 30 seconds then I'm back in online.

Do it slowly, say "One One Thousand" outloud, and on every syllable click A

As for your mission actually loading, you need to either one, get your stars once you are in the game faster, or two, restart your router and retry
