Get off your computer or gaming console and put your head down. There's not magic trick. Just read all your notes and books over and over until you know them perfectly. Make sure your environment is distraction free, so go in your bedroom, shut the door, keep any domestic pets out of the room and ask your family or roommate to leave you alone unless they have something important to tell you. If you live in a dorm and can't focus cause people are being loud, that's normal. Just go to a library and you should find some peace and quiet there. Be sure to turn off your phone too!

Good luck, I hope you ace your exams!

I don't know if this is labeled as procrastination, but here is my advice. Don't cram a whole nights worth of studying material into one late night, you'll feel wrecked. What I usually do is listen to some calm and melodic music (For example,Chillstep) and study for about 30 minutes, then I put away studying for another day. If it's a small quiz or exam, study the day that the tests happens on! That's how I've aced most of my tests (Even though I suck at taking tests, lol) Ensure that you also get a great night of sleep on the day in which the test is, I would say about 6-8 hours of sleep. Eat a lot of dietary fibers in the morning and drink some vitamin C! Hope this helps.

This is how I usually study whether I'm with friend or not.
I start by reviewing what I already know.
Then I try explaining it to a friend. If they understand what I'm talking about, then you know what you're talking about.

If I'm by myself, I do the same thing and review what I know. Then go back and write down the things you don't know.
From there I try to explain to myself what was important in that subject. And or why it matters the most. Then from there, I would add details as if why it was important.
If that doesn't work out...I would go by vocab.
For example if we were to be talking about WW1; I'd write down on one side of the flash card "Causes Of WW1". Then on the back, write down important names that would help you remember why it happened. Then go on from there.
And if that doesn't work, I'd go www.Quizlet.com and study from there.
And make sure to study 5-10 minutes before going to bed. Statistics show that those who do study before going to bed usually improve by 10-25% more on their tests and quiz's
I hope that helped, because those seem to really help me before a test/quiz.
Sorry if that was a bit confusing. Feel free to Pm me if you have any questions.

I study on and off. But when I study I do it for like 2 hours then go to sleep so it stays on my mind and I remember it

My professor told me about this one:

Make a mock-up quiz and quiz yourself. Think of questions you might see on the test and answer them.

I hate tests, I am possibly the worst test taker in the world but I have a couple of steps that I use to over come me sucking at taking them.

What usually happens to me is I freeze up and forget everything that I studied the night before so what I usually do is when I hear that we are having a test, I right it down somewhere(arm, notebook, planner) and then later that night I will be reminded of it to study. Study up to the day of and not all in one night and try to cram for the test. Pace yourself and span the studying times out. Another tip is when you are going into the class room, don't stress about it. Think of being somewhere fun, where you would want to be like say for example at the Beach. Think about you been there and relaxing. By relaxing it takes away the stress levels and slims the chances of you forgetting stuff on the test.

Use these and you will improve your score!

It depends what type of a learner you are.

Personally for myself, I tend to remember stuff better when I write it on paper a few times.
