I've been Eminem fan for almost 10 years and this song is really on the bottom of the barrel. To summarize this is up, the song sounds like it was produced by a amateur DJ (sorry Rick Rubin), the lyrics were awful, and the repetition of saying "I'M A RAP GOD" was annoying. The only good thing about the song was his flow. But saying that's the reason the song is good is ludicrous. I feel like Eminem isn't being himself, it seems like his record company has their hand in his ass and working him like a puppet. I say this because all of his recent songs are framed to be hits on the radio and he does have the full ability to put his creative instinct on his tracks. And this is exactly why MMLP 2 will be horrendous.

(Sorry for the novel)

So you be Thor and I'll be Odin, you rodent, I'm omnipotent
Let off then I'm reloading immediately with these bombs I'm totin'
And I should not be woken

He's literally saying he's the God of rap and he's coming back dropping bombs on all his haters and the recent competitiveness in hip hop has reignited his fire to prove he is the God.

No one can challenge Eminem's lyrical genius and this album is going to shake the rap world.

I disagree completely the lyrics were all intertwined and ingenious.

Not even close. This song was good, don't get me wrong, but the album has low expectations for me. Survival was made mainly for a CoD commercial, and now it's on his album. Did you see the tracklist? Features with Skylar Grey and the Lead Singer from the band FUN. This isn't going to be a Marshall Mathers LP 2, more like a Recovery 2. You don't see Snoop or Nate Dogg on this, and certainly no tracks like Kim or Criminal. This album is all hype.

I think the time frame 4:25 - 4:50 is the best part of the song.

That time period shows of his pure talent of rapping.

Other than that, the song is alright. Not his best but it has a really good part.

Just because there are artists that are mainstream featured doesn't mean it'll be bad. People get too critical when it comes to that. Snoop went reggae and nate dogg is dead. And I do realize there are other talented lyricists its just my opinion that out of everyone in the spotlight at the moment nobody comes close.

Although I'm probably bias because I'm a die hard eminem fan

My point is: A mainstream artist, like Skylar Grey, will probably not be singing a hook about hard times in Detroit, but more likely "a sky full of lighters". There are going to be some amazing songs on the album, it's Em what do you expect, but it's going to be no MMLP2.
