Hey guys,seeing there is no game modding sticky i thought i would try to help people that may be heading in the wrong direction while trying to host lobbies.This post will encompassing everything from non-jailbreak black ops 1 modding to Dex rtm bo2 unlock all.


Welcome
Hey so im going over many things in this post using a jailbroken ps3 and using a retail ps3 as well. If you have a question simply comment below ill try to answer it,if you need help jailbreaking go HERE or if you need to buy a jailbroken ps3 go HERE
All DOWNLOADS AND CREDITS WILL BE AT THE BOTTOM!



MW2 CFG Modding(Non-Jailbreak)
Download a cfg
Drag and Drop to USB (in no folder)
Rename to buttons_default.cfg
Safely Remove Hardware
Put USB in PS3 (Far Right Slot)
Go on MW2 and Get CFG Infection
Go to Split Screen and Turn PSN unlocks On then start
Now press "select" then "directional pad up"
End game and play online
Note: Do not Go to fast in menu u may lag out or freeze


Waw CFG/GSC mods(Non-jailbreak)

Not hard need a save game editor.



Black ops 1 modding (Non-Jailbreak)
How To Use Tool:
Copy Black Ops Game Save from PS3 to PC
Start Up Application and Open The Game Save Folder
Edit Game Saves however you like
Save All to save every changes to have made to the save files
Copy back to PS3 and you should be good to go.






Mw3 modding(Non-jailbreak)

How To Use:
Well first you will have to make or copy a save from splitscreen.
Start up my editor and find the save data folder.
Edit the save however you please.
Save all changes made.
Copy back to PS3 and you should be good to go.



Gta 4 modding(Non-Jailbreak)

Copy GTA4 Game Save from PS3 to PC
Start Up Application and Open The Game Save Folder
Edit Game Saves however you like
Save All to save every changes to have made to the save files
Copy back to PS3 and you should be good to go.


Bo2 modding(Non-Jailbreak)
How To Use Tool:
Copy Black Ops II Game Save from PS3 to PC
Start Up Application and Open The Game Save Folder
Edit Game Saves however you like
Save Asset When Your Done Editing Raw File each time you edit
Save All to save every changes to have made to the save files
Copy back to PS3 and you should be good to go.



GTA 5(Non-Jailbreak)

Mw2 modding(Jailbreak)

1.On your computer, download a Modded Patch for Modern Warfare 2.
2.Make a folder in your USB titled "PATCH".
3.Drag the Modded Patch into the "PATCH" folder inside your USB.
4.Disconnect your USB from your computer and connect it to your PS3.
5.Start your file manager.
6.Navigate to dev_hdd0 > Game > BLUS30377 (US) or BLES00686 (EU)> USRDIR and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
7.Press Right on the D-Pad to switch to the menu on the left side.
8.Navigate to dev_usb000 > PATCH and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
9.Now press Select, O (Circle), then Start. Then press the PS Button and select Quit Game.
10.You have successfully inserted a modded patch. Start up MW2 and test it out!





Cod 4 modding(Jailbreak)

2.Make a folder in your USB titled "PATCH".
3.Drag the Modded Patch into the "PATCH" folder inside your USB.
4.Disconnect your USB from your computer and connect it to your PS3.
5.Start a File Manager.
6.Navigate to dev_hdd0 > Game > BLUS30072 (US) > USRDIR and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
7.Press Right on the D-Pad to switch to the menu on the left side.
8.Navigate to dev_usb000 > PATCH and highlight over Patch_mp.ff.
9.Now press Select, O (Circle), then Start. Then press the PS Button and select Quit Game.
10.You have successfully inserted a modded patch. Start up CoD4 and test it out!


Waw modding(Jailbreak)
1.On your computer, download a Modded Patch for World at War.
2.Make a folder in your USB titled "PATCH".
3.Drag the Modded Patch into the "PATCH" folder inside your USB.
4.Disconnect your USB from your computer and connect it to your PS3.
5.Start Comgenie's Awesome FileManager.
6.You will navigate to different directories depending on the type of lobby you are looking to host:

Multiplayer Modded Lobby:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English and highlight over patch_mp.ff.

Nacht Der Untoten & Verrckt:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English and highlight over patch_ff.

Shi No Numa:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English > dlcmappack2 > English and highlight over nazi_zombie_sumpf_patch.ff'.

Der Riese:
Navigate to hdd0 > Game > BLUS30192 (US) > USRDIR > English > dlcmappack3 > English and highlight over nazi_zombie_factory_patch.ff'.
7.Press Right on the D-Pad to switch to the menu on the left side.
8.Navigate to dev_usb000 > PATCH and highlight over the patch_mp.ff/patch.ff/nazi_zombie_sumpf_patch.ff'/nazi_zombie_factory_patch.ff'.
9.Now press Select, O (Circle), then Start. Then press the PS Button and select Quit Game.
10.You have successfully inserted a modded patch. Start up World at War and test it out!

RTE modding(For Mw2,Mw3,Black ops 1 &2,and Ghosts)

Cex = Retail that you buy in store
Dex = Debug - Developers Console that costs thousands of dollars
But we are now able to convert CEX > DEX by modifying the Flash.
But hosting gmaes on DEX is the same about because you have to attach to the process from ProDG manager.

You forgot to mention that if they use a debug eboot on bo2, you WILL get a ban. Use ita with a self or use another tool that will give you less of a chance getting banned.

I think it's called ps3tool

yo nice post island time this will help a lot of people out but you you should add in,all the mw2 pkgs and debug eboot for people that want to rtm on it but still this is a very good post

This your best work so far its amazing,keep up the great work.
Respect to you for the hard work you put into this.
This is pretty complete from a modding prespective.
I have a couple of decent GTA V mods if you ever feel the need to add them.
