I highly doubt it, Rockstar have upped their servers security since GTA IV when people modded the hell out of it - And what'd you even plan on modding?

Money? - You risk both Rockstar/Microsoft picking you up on this, since it is liked to mspoints/cash thingy as well as the game.

Stats? - You risk Rockstar picking up a sudden change in the increase of such stats.

Garage? - Is this even possible?

However you look at it, there is always a risk with modding brand new games out - and it's only been a few weeks not even that since GTA V came out in the first place and only a couple of days now for online, you'll be at heavy risk if you were to mod now. Think about it.

Best bet is to wait until things settle down more, modding at too much an early time is pretty bad. Though if there is one, don't let this message stop you - just don't say you weren't warned if the worst happens.

The money he's referring to is stored server side, and not inside a save - think of it like FIFA coins.

Since you posted that message Online had only been out for just over a day, there's no way legitimately you would have modded money and had it for at least 2 weeks.

That aside, I was talking about Online based money - replying to the question asked in the 1st place. Offline there is less of a risk, but I was talking of Online - and the money there is server based, you'll notice this if you use Rockstar's "Social Club" website.
