This thread is dedicated to AMD's upcoming flagship GPU, the R9 290X
I have made this topic for several reasons, mainly because of the fact that if pricing rumours are true, it is set to smash the high end market into itty bitty pieces. Benchmarks show it beating a Titan (both single GPU flagship cards), but the R9 290X is rumoured to cost only 600 dollars/>500 pounds.

this is a lot of money hopefully it is worth it though as Amd usually is very cheap and reliable lets see how this approach works out
