my xbox recently got the red ring and i want to know if there is anyway of fixing it without taking it apart

no you have to take it apart also you should say how many red cursors you have is it 3 or 2 or what?

Not sure if it works but I heard if you put a towel over it and leave it on until it cuts out then leave it to cool down then it shoud work

over heat the xbox buy stopping the fans from going round wait to it goes 2 rrod then power off to cool down and it should work if not then let me know what error code you have buy holding sink and press eject 4 times to get your code.

Definitely not recommended, you can do a lot more damage than good.

Hit the sync and eject button at the same time, 4 red lights will blink. Let it sit for 15 mins then turn it off, wait a min. Then turn back on. It should work. If doesn't repeat. Did it for mine. I didn't get 3 red rings for a month now
