Basically what I was going to do was put XEX menu in my USB and my retail HDD in my RGH (more games) would this work? Would it corrupt my HDD at all? (I would also move all the dashlaunch, FSD, and cache files to my USB)

im not too sure what you mean?

are you trying to run unsigned codes on retail? that wouldnt work

however you could use the hdd on both consoles, but xex menu would come up as corrupt on the retail, so would other games,

but if you use games like SNES, then dont use your online profile with it, then it will get banned cos of the gamerscore from snes

What I mean is taking my retail HDD and put it on my RGH. (It has a lot of games)

No this is not safe! 1, to even play the games from that hdd you would hav eto unlock them via nxe2god or xbm360 or whatever it's called *i havent used it in awhile* plus retail hdd's work diff on a modified console, like when you try to copy most games to the retail hdd, it will stop copying files midway through and thats a pain in the asz, its best that you just get a laptop hdd, or desktop hdd *with a desktop hdd it can take awhile to format it..* so its recommended you just go out/find a laptop hdd at least 200gb and up and jst plug it into your rgh/jtag and format it, then for xbox emulators use partition2fix.xex.

however if you just plan on moving/copying all of the games to a diff usb/hdd then thats fine just dont make your retail hdd your modified consoles main hdd, because its just dsnt work like that.

To whoever said it was not safe, It is. Because this is what i did. The only thing is, The downloadable content you have downloaded into the marketplace; Wont be able to be played on the JTAG. I THINK you might be able to use XM360 to unlock it tho. Not completely sure. But yes this is ok to do because this is what i did

it is only safe if you plan to keep it on your rgh/jtag because once you use xm360 or w.e to unlock the games the games will all be corrupt on your retail and require you to redownload all the games again.
