Never forget 9/11, one of the saddest and darkest days in America, and in the world.

Long live the freedom and love of America, pay our tributes day after day until 9/11 where we show our love and respect for those who lost their live that very day.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry for those who were lost in the 9/11 incident. I really like how they turned it into a memorial for those who were lost in that tragedy. It will always be in my mind.

Hi I'm from the United Kingdom or UK I might add. Although, I have seen much and read much upon this day that happened on this very day 12 years ago. I send prayers and a moment for the families and people that had to experience or feel the very pain that happened on that day. That had lost their loved ones and furthermore, And the bravery for everyone and all the people that tried their very best and helped on such a tragic event. Thank you.

And Rest in Peace to all that was lost on that day. RIP

I remember that day vaguely. I live fairly close to NYC and when it happened I was in school, kindergarten actually, and I remember some of the teachers panicking because no one really knew what was going on. The teachers had to cover all the windows so no one could see the towers after they've been hit. Then everyone's parents started coming to pick up their kids and bring them home. Of course since I was only 4 or 5 years old I had absolutely no clue what was happening, I was just happy I got to go home early.

Over the summer I visited the 9/11 memorial at ground zero.
Here are a couple of the pictures I took if anyone is interested.

It's horrible to see all the hateful people who find something of this seriousness funny. It's not funny whatsoever. My heart goes out to all of the families who lost a relative(s)/friend(s) on this day and to all the fireman/police officers/people who risked their lives to do their best to try and save the people in the tower.
