What do you guys think?
The US has planned cruise missile strikes but only after the UN inspectors have exited Syria. This is expected to be by Thursday or Friday. Russia and Iran have threatened to intervene if the US gets involved as well as Syria retaliating. Iran has threatened to attack Israel upon US intervention. No clue what Russia has planned but it is rumored that Russia is not planning involvement outside of the diplomatic process. Israel is now beefing up defenses anticipating and attack from Iran and/or Syria upon US intervention in the region. China is telling us to stay out of it as well, but there is no clear indication at this time that China will play a role in the conflict. The question though, is will this lead to WW3?
There are a few possible outcomes and this is how I think they will play out:

1. The US launches cruise missile sites as planned, and possibly enforces a no-fly zone and possibly carry out airstrikes against assets on the ground and no one reacts, the rebels gain the edge.

2. The US launches missile strikes as planned, Iran, in a retaliatory strike, attacks Israel and possibly sends more troops into Syria. Syria also strikes back against Israel This causes Israel to attack Iran and Syria, causing the US to continue a bombardment of Syria or/until they decide to deploy troops into Syria. In Syria ground battles consist not only of SAA but Iranian military forces as well. This may or may not result in cruise missile strikes on Iran and an invasion of Iran as well. This could snowball fast.

How do you guys think this will play out?

Yeeeaahh I doubt it, hah..

I doubt it'll be a World war, but may be a total war.. I know you may think im stupid for saying that but its likely depending if we end up needing a lot of resources for a war like this.. especially if other countries get involved in on this too.

time for another Vietnam war (another since Iraq & afghan were the first) ....

I'm in the USA and although I don't hate my country it would be nice to see someone teach our diplomats a lesson... Stay out of other peoples business... Worry about your OWN problems!!!!!

Honestly, lets hope not. We cant afford another war, like we aren't out of the current "war" that we are fighting right now.

We dont need to loose more lives that we already are.

Lets hope for the best, and pray for a good outcome

Update: "There are reports that Iran is importing missile-grade ore from Germany, while satellite images indicate Iran has expanded a facility which refines uranium using laser technology. In India, that country's first ballistic missile sub is ready for sea trials. China's nerves have been rattled by India as India seeks to develop faster and longer range nuclear capability, a not-so-subtle reference to China.

China sails destroyers for first time through international strait between northern Japan and Russia's far east. China's military continues to push for cyberwarfare development including the use of masses of civilians and the targeting of satellites which the United States relies upon. For U.S. defense, tests of some of its long-range interceptors have failed.

Russia is seen to increase military ties with Cuba, especially during the transition between Castro and his successors, while Cuba admits to shipping missiles and equipment to North Korea. Some are concerned that there may be reciprocity between the two countries and that Cuba may be arming itself with advanced weaponry. North Korea has shown off backpack-nuclear bombs during its military parade, although analysts believe this to be more propaganda than fact and that North Korea does not yet possess the ability to manufacture such a miniature nuclear device."

We've got them surrounded. Unless they've managed to make incredibly secret alliances, we would end it quickly.

I doubt Israel will be attacked, it's too strong a country and has defeated all of middle east about 10 times over... hopefully America just stay out of it
