So i have been a very big Xbox fanatic for the past few years. My First Console was the Xbox 360. I have never really played PS3 except at a friends house and such and never really got into it. So i am wondering with all of the things heard about both consoles, who is switching over and why?
For Me, Im switching because of the Recording Device, You dont have to pay for Playstation Network for some features, ( yes i know you have to pay for playstation network ), and there will be 8gb of ram instead of 5. ( makes the games run smoother )
So leave a reason why you are switching as well. and if you arent swtiching tell us why. Thanks!!

Look how smooth most games are on the PS3 and 360. Both the x1 and ps4 will be smooth and fast consoles.
And do you plan on only recording single player gameplay?

I'm getting the Xbox one, but I'm to lazy to list the reasons.
But ps4 can record longer than Xbox one.

I don't stick to one company, I switch around if the other console is better. So its been Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and now I'm back to Sony.
I am switching from the Xbox 360 to PS4. Here are my reasons.
1. $100 cheaper
2. More powerful
3. Gamer focused

I don't stick with one company, I go with the company I feel offers me the best product with the best value. Last gen, I felt like that was the Xbox 360, but this gen, I'm switching to the PS4.
1. $100 cheaper
2. More exclusives
Those are my main two reasons why I'm "switching", but hopefully, I'll be getting a Wii U and Xbox One soon after.

Just because Sony doesn't add many non gaming features, how does it make it gamer focused? If Microsoft removed all that TV stuff would it then be gamer focused?
Also why did you go with a 360 instead of a PS3? The PS3 was more powerful.

I might possibly switch to the PS4 mainly because it's time to change to a different platform and because most of my friends will be getting it.

I switched from Xbox 360 to PS3 because I went through to many profile bans and console bans. Money suckers. They don't give a sh!t about their customers as they would have stayed with the dumb policies if they weren't competing with PS. They were going to lose money.
I used to be a pretty big fanboy for Microsoft but after making the switch I was happy. It's up to you as I played both consoles for quite some time. I prefer the PS3. But since PS4 is coming out. My opinion is XbOne fails and PS4 pwns.
