Senior Product Marketing Manager at AMD, Marc Diana said in an interview with Gamescom, that PS4's performance is better than Xbox One becoz of the presence of heterogeneous Uniform Memory Access (hUMA).

With hUMA, the CPU and GPU which are already on the same die have direct access to the same, shared memory pool. Both CPU and GPU can work with the same data without requiring programs to copy data back and forth between the two for maintaining coherency.

I think they'll be exactly the same as the ps3 and 360, little to no difference in performance.

I just thought it was interesting that with huma the gpu and cpu can grab references that are in ram at the exact same time instead of before they could grab it off the same chip but it would have to be it would have to be two separate instances of the same information.

personally I will not buy the ps4 even if its slightly more powerful I care for the games and prefer Xbox all the way nothing is going to change my mind[/b]

I think both have there pro's and con's I am sticking to mostly PC for now until prices drop down and make sure all the bugs are sorted out.. For me it will come down to w/e console more of my friends have.(most likely Xbox)

xbox will be better PS4 is basically the 360 if you think about it
