Dr-J wrote Just like the guy said above. If you like the ps4 more you're a ps4 fanboy as I'm an Xbox fanboy. Sony is good but Xbox one has all of the gaming, tv, amazing new kinect(go to the news), awesome controller, 1080p Skype, other features, plus unlimited cloud storage.

i hate raving but big gamers even said ps4 controllers are better.

Honestly it's a dual shock. I could care less about "YouTube stars"
The pros at MLG use Xbox controllers. And it's also my personal preference. Plus the new controller has impulse triggers.
Dual shocks are made cheap. Ps3s controller could snap in half if I squeezed it

I think this link should work

Nobody ever said that the PS3 controller is better than the 360 one, but you shouldn't be surprised if that changes with the PS4. Like the other guy said there have been numerous surveys where they compared the controllers in general and then different features and PS4 won every single one I've seen by a landslide. Sony knew there controller wasn't that great and that's why they basically had game developers make the controller and then take all the best ideas that everyone had and put it into one well made controller. TBH the new Xbox controller looks really cheap IMO and I was a 360 gamer until recently since launch so I'm not some lifetime Sony fanboy that is here to just hate.
actually multiple surveys said the new ps4 controller is better than ps3s but just catching up to 360s comfort. And the one controller is better than the 360s because it's just like it but with 40+ improvements
The xbox one is terrible you've obviously been brainwashed, all they did was "lower the battery pack", I don't see a touch pad on the xbox controller aswell it looks VERY cheap. and LOL you guys still use batteries.

Ok what happens when the battery goes up in your PS3 controller? You have to go buy another controller. If my batteries die in my Xbox controller, i just get 2 more from walmart LOL, So see, The PS3 controller has a few flaws.

SillyChildren wrote Microsoft did a lot of research for their controller and decided a touch pad would be detrimental to gameplay.

We all know if the Xbox One had a touchpad and the PS4 controller didn't, Sony fanboys would be saying:

"I want to focus on the screen when I'm playing, who wants to keep looking down at the controller and getting killed?"

How do you think Sony made their controller? Must of put no research into it, huh? You really should try to think before you type something again, let me restate this for you see if you can pick it up this time... They know how gaming works, they let people from all sorts of gaming studios help design their ideal controller so when implementing the touchpad in lets say some online shooter they're not going to have you be using the touchpad for anything that would be time consuming and would get you looking away from the game. Sony has said numerous times that they want the PS4's gaming experience to be as natural as possible where you don't even think about what you're doing with the controller and are just focused on the game. The only time you will be doing anything with the touchpad that may involve you looking at it is while on the dashboard or during times in games where you have the time to look at it like in a single player game of in between multi player matches .

You make the touchpad sound pretty useless.

Pashtun wrote I'm just going to list some of my reasons to get a PS4. Some might find this helpful others might not.

1. Price
It is $100 cheaper. PS plus is $50 retail price while the Xbox Live is $60 retail price. The PS plus also come with an extra 90 days if you buy the year which is $50. PS plus is a good deal because you get very good games that are not old for free. Also things like party chat and netflix is free.

2. It is 40% more powerful.
The RAM and GPU is more powerful. The GPU on the PS4 is 1.84 TFLOPS while the Xbox One is 1.23 TFLOPS. The Xbox 360 is 0.23 TFLOPS. You can see there is a big difference. The RAM on the PS4 also has more bandwidth. Which is 5500 mhz while the Xbox One is 2133 mhz. There are other things but I won't list them.

3. Gamer focused
The PS4 is focused on the gamer. Gamer first everything else second. The Xbox One is more of an all in one entertainment system. This is why it is called the ONE.

Thank you for reading. I hope I helped some people with their confusion. Again these are just my reason to get a PS4. There are also other reason out there but these are the main ones that have me sold. And NO I do not intend to start a console war here. Thanks again.

As others have said, I like both consoles, but you saying that the PS4 is 40% more powerful is a lie. They're both going to run the same graphic(They'll look identical). Both consoles have their ups and downs. Microsoft has more features than playstation, but playstation costs less. (Also in terms of power, Hypothetically the xbox one can pull nearly 5 terabytes in graphics processing output when online, thanks to the cloud.)

Like I said, I like them both, and I think they will both be great, but this post is just raw opinion/offline play, and we all know that no one is getting a next-gen console to sit offline with...

EDIT- You're also wrong about the price of ps plus... PS plus is over 60$ a year, where did you get you info from, the bottom of a rock?

Well if he got it under a rock it must of been a very informative rock

I would also like to quote IGN from the first link I provided you, "It's $50 well spent"

you also might want to wipe some of that dribble off of your face

On one thing, the price. The first link you sent me, it said just under 6$ a month, that was from PlayStation Plus. But it is my bad, I didn't do more research online...
Thanks though for clearing it up

How slow are you? I'm not even going to bother to ask how this makes it sound useless, there is no middle ground with you. First it's going to be used sooo much that you think you will have to constantly look down at it and then I point out the fact that it's still going to be used frequently but developers know the limit on how much for each game so it doesn't interfere with the gameplay itself and not it's useless. Obviously it must hurt your head to comprehend simple things like that so I'll let you think it's "useless" and you can have fun with your over hyped rumble pack...

Seems like I've struck a nerve.

Obviously it's subjective if a touchpad is good or bad. But Microsoft spent $100 million developing the Xbox One controller and the lead designer said this.

""When I'm playing Call of Duty I don't want the second screen to be compulsory. So that's why having a second screen sounds interesting, but is actually detrimental to core gameplay." So I'm going to have to go with him.

This is part of the reason why the Wii U is failing.
