My PC isn't the greatest PC for gaming, and I don't know too much about PC's and such but it runs so slow especially when I try to play Battlefield 3 on it, even on the lowest graphics settings. Its an HP Computer w/ an Intel Core i5 CPU @ 2.70GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64-bit processor, and Windows 8. I just want to know why it's so slow and how I can improve gaming performance on it.

It's mostly likely your graphics card. What is your graphics card?

Remove unnecessary shit from it. Go into your Startup and stop anything that's not needed.

Of course, because the name HP just makes it 10x worse, huh?

No.. Because HP has OEM machines which means they are not made for these things. No matter what, your going to run into problems.. the Mobos are designed to specifically for that computer and it can cause a lot of trouble when upgrading(if you even can) the cpu/Gpu
