Copy and paste the link below into your address bar and type the gamertag you want to check the availability off after the "=" sign. If it takes you to a profile it's taken, If it gives you an error saying the webpage can't be found, it's available.
Just type in a space if the gamertag has a space in it.

(If you click on it, it will take you to a sign in page, copy it)

This was meant to be a fast way of checking Gamertags, usually it takes for ever on the Xbox itself. Some people may know about this, some may not.

This is pretty useful but you can also do it on xbox already but i like this idea thanks!
Thing is you have to paste or type this in the bar though now that i try it or it redirects you to the login
