Your ISP could send you a letter to stop the illegal downloads. This happens often believe it or not.

It depends on which ISP your with. I'm with Bell and they don't care at all. I've been downloading for years and haven't gotten a letter from them.

I would not worry about it. Thousands upon thousands of people do it. Plus it's torrented so it's harder to trace.
If you're still worried about it then just stop.

Only if you get caught. Fines for illegal music downloads go upwards of 250k per song

So I assume that games could be similar. Your ISP knows what you're doing but they probably won't do anything about it because they're getting your money and that's all they care about. Just don't download sketchy torrents and you should be fine. Just know potential risks include law suits, fines, and loss of internet services if you're caught. Here's some cases about people that got caught:

But hey it probably won't happen to you or me. I still download stuff lol

Unless you are uploading torrents, then it's somewhat dangerous

Depends. I have been downloading stuff on and off the last couple days and have been downloading here and there for the last couple years. As long as youre careful you should be fine. I do it two ways, just normal to my computer, but I also do it a fancy way. My dad has bought a VM computer in Germany with like 100mb/s download speed, so we download our large torrents there and ftp them back to my computer here. Which is on a VPN and IP changes every couple minutes. So there is ZERO way for us to be traced.
