Its a way of being nice and makes you look ok I guess? Well that's what I've been thinking. But I totally agree in other cases. I would also imagine their is some 10 year old kids who can't really say much so they just reply to random topics with no useful information so they can get their post count up and bypass the 20 character limit.

I see it and I do think it is a good thing that people do it, but it can be unnecessary. Your username is at the top of the post so there isn't any need to post your username at the bottom of everything you write. But if people want to do it let them, I am not going to stop them.
