Okay so my JTAG's disc tray won't read games, therefore I cant copy them onto my HDD for xexmenu/fsd. Is there any way around this except downloading the iso, this is last resort as my internet download speed is the worst !

If you have a second 360, use that other one to download it then move it over with a usb to the jtag and use XM360 to unlock it for the jtag, i have the same issue sometimes and this has solved it

Okay I have it on my USB and now have xm360. But I'm unsure how to unlock it for my JTAG, can you explain please.

you can always replace the laser in the dvd drive...
