A KV makes ur JTAG Xbox unbanned and A KV makes it unbanned again for a few hours anywhere from 3-12 hrs. Then u need a new one again

KV stands for Key Vault.
It allows you to go online for a little while
If you want it to be easy to install
I'd recommend getting a Xenon JTAG

is a kv for a game like mw3 mw2 or is it just to get xbl

Yes you can.
I'd rather have a Xenon though because it can use any type of Key Vaults.
Also you might want to check out the JTAG section

A "KV" aka Key Vault Allows your console to be unbanned and have access to xbox live, once it is banned you must replace the kv with a working one and you will be unbanned again, at least temporarily.

A "KV" Is a Key Vault which when you get console banned its just the Key Vault getting banned but if you have a JTAG/RGH ect.. You can swap the Key vault for a fresh not banned one.
