I personally do hate when i get sniped across the map and i watch the killcam and it's a guy who's been looking down his sights for 25 seconds.
Maybe it only bothers me. I just don't think hardscoping takes much skill, not like CoD is all about skill to begin with..

Well that's true but I'm talking about when you just aim down the sight for a quick 2 maybe 3 seconds and shoot and a pissed of little kid screams in my turtle beaches.

I completely agree. People just like to complain on that game all the time.

A sniper rifle has a scope on it for a reason, use it. Hardscope or not.

I know exactly what you mean! I base my sniping off of just getting the kill, I'd rather have a confirmed kill in say one shot than some guy trying to quick scope me and just keep missing.

A good example is famous snipers on YouTube, a lot of the time you see them aiming down sights for quite a long period of time, sure they might get 4 people but it still counts as a hardscope if you put it in those terms!

Yeah, it bothers me too. Is using the iron sight for the ballista considered 'hardscoping'?

The community is poisoned by little kids that try way too hard at the game and do terrible in the process. That being quickscoping, camping, trickshotting, pubstomping, etc... And when they fail miserably because they're going against a bunch of players with SMGs and shotguns, their only defense is to cuss you out and ask why you are not playing like them. Simple really, attempting something you are terrible at only creates rage. Just play the damn game for the objective. Your K/D and skill means nothing in the real world.

We'll just call it "Proper Sniping" I hate people who get mad at real snipers. They honestly deserve to be punched

I know what you mean and it does get annoying at some times. I just ignore them and keep hard-scoping.

When Call of Duty came out scoping with a sniper was the thing, because thats what your suppose to do with them. Hold down the scoping and watching for people is the point of sniping. Call of Duty has also changed to were most snipers are quickscoping!
