Yin wrote I am someone who speaks quite a bit on bullying, cyber bullying, and suicide, but the site itself shouldn't be banned. It would be cool if they had some safety measure added though. People either should need an account to ask questions, or they should be strict on IP banning people. Some people enjoy that site though. It's not a bad site, so I can't see where a ban is needed. I really feel sorry for the girl and I think the people/person responsible should be punished, but the site itself isn't the cause of this.

I'm liking idea of an IP ban , maybe the site logs the IP of who post's server side so nobody else can access it and then if they see a person is posting is repeatedly posting hateful comments then they could restrict that IP from posting anonymously.

You can't report people when they don't have an account...

They can't really ban the site because someone committed suicide over it. Facebook didn't get banned when Amanda Todd got bullied.

Think of it this way, its not the site that made her commit suicide. Its the things that people say, and where ever you go, people will still be able to say things like this.

I don't think it should be banned because you know you will more than likely get abuse because like you said it anonymous and you shouldn't commit suicide over it so in a way it's her own fault for crating the account. People should just learn to not take any notice about what people say.

No. People signing up should have the general knowledge to know what they are getting into... Come on, Anonymous askers, It doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

If you don't want anything to happen, don't sign up. It's not the Web Hosters Fault. Although I do think the person who asks the questions, should have a right to I.P Block the Troll askers and reporting them, that way the website hoster can get rid of trolling.

Even then, that seems a bit excessive.

When you're on a website were people can say anything without being caught you are going to expect some kind of bullying towards you, although you should be able to delete your account and before making one you should think if it will effect you and your confidence. The death of Hannah is a tragic situation and will not be forgotten throughout social websites.
