There has been a lot of commotion recently over the death of a "Hannah Smith" who has recently committed suicide over the abuse she got on Ask.fm.



If you don't know what Ask.Fm is:
Ask.fm is a website where you create your own profile and then allows others to sumbit anonymous questions. The main messages you see on almost all ask.fm's are people getting sent hateful messages , after all it's anonymous.




My opinion is that it's a good idea for a website but this kind of thing was going to happen eventually , as will it happen on anything that lets you submit anonymously. Simple answer is just don't create an account or as soon as you receive a hateful message stop using the site?



Just seems like common sense to me , if you're getting abused and you can stop it with a click of a button , just do it.

In my opinion it's just like any other social media you choose to be there you can block and report people for abuse and go on with your day. But this is just my opinion I don't let people get to me easily maybe others have a harder time with this!

There's trolls everywhere and hateful messages on fb too, should fb be banned?No.
Just don't get offended easily or just don't use it1

I don't think the site should be banned. But they should definitely remove the anonymous side of the website. A website with kids on should never have an anonymous option.

To be honest if Hannah knew she was getting bullied she should have deactivated the account if she knew it would mean cyberspace bullying especially from anonymous people.I feel bad for death to be honest but its common sense.

Hell no, just because people misuse something, dosnt mean it should be banned. The website isnt all bad and banning the website will only make people on that one scatter across to new ones. Then on the new site people will be bullied and stuff. So will baning the website do anything? Nope not even close.

Also people abuse A LOT of things, and in result people die. We abuse drugs, cars, alcohol, and guns ect, should we ban all those things to?
