Don't get me wrong they are worth the money, but when really are you going to use them apart from long journeys and chilling at home, they aren't something you can walk around town wearing to be honest

I prefer cheaper headphones. I love getting surprised by something like that, when stuff turns out better than you think!

Try some of the headphones that people are mentioning here, then you'll see whether they are worth the money or not.

It isn't even really the price that's deterring, it's that they just don't sound very good for anything that isn't electronic, and even then, you can get other headphones that are nicer for electronic than Beats. I've had a pair of Beats Pros for almost a month and I haven't used them more than three times. The only legitimate reason for me to use them is as a glorified Skype/call headset since they're the only headphones I have that have a mic.
