Having problems loading up Minecraft 1.6.2 on Windows 8Posted:

So when I start Minecraft I click play the game starts and this error appears:
"Client> Error occurred during initialization of VM
Client> Incompatible minimum and maximum heap sizes specified
Client> Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xms1024M
Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)
Ignoring visibility rule and showing launcher due to a game crash
Deleting C:\Users\jake\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.6.2\1.6.2-natives-505525417970
Please help would be much appreciated

Do you have the latest version of Java? Uninstall the client and re install it.
